direct to your inboxA seventh person has been chargedr following the death of a teenager in Moston. Mohammed Al-Jaf, 19, of Bradney Close, Higher Blackley, has been charged with murder; and violent disorder.He has been remanded in custody.
Mr Al-Jaf was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).It follows an incident in Moston on November 5.Police were called to reports of a 'disturbance' on Birchenall Street just after 7pm.Officers attended and established that Alexander John Soyoye, 16, had been stabbed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.Five other men and a teenage boy have been charged with murder and have been remanded into custody ahead of further court appearances.Get breaking news first on the free Manchester.
