North Lanarkshire teacher has been banned from the profession after making a string of disgusting sexual comments to fellow staff members and sending messages to a pupil on social media.

The council employee, who has not been named, added a pupil on Facebook before sending them a number of ‘inappropriate messages’ prior to March 2018.

The alarm was raised after the teacher sent a number of revolting text messages to a sick colleague who was undergoing treatment for a medical condition between June 2018 and March the next year.

In a series of text messages to the person, the teacher wrote: “We should have baldy sex together” and “you can **** me off any time”.They also referred to another staff member as ‘baby’ or ‘my wee baby’ and said ‘I’d.
