Scots prisoner death in HMP Barlinnie to be probed by inquiry

The 43-year-old died was serving a three-year sentence for bribing a man with £1,000 to drop an assault charge, Glasgow Live reports.

Hamilton was put behind bars alongside his partner, Jolene Harkins, in 2018 for the callous crime.The inmate died at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in October 2019.Next month an investigation will get underway into his death.The Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) will take place at Glasgow Sheriff Court.They admitted giving cash to Jake Francis, from Tyneside, who was knifed on the head and body by Hamilton at the couple’s flat in Springburn in 2016, in a bid to make him change his evidence.But.
