dailyrecord.co.ukdrug dealing has been jailed.Morag Yorston, from Dundee, was today locked up for five years and 11 months after pleading guilty to supplying heroin and cocaine and being involved in serious organised crime in July last year.Yorston failed to appear at the High Court in Glasgow for sentencing in September 2019.
Police discovered the 55-year-old had fled the country with her husband, who is a Bulgarian national, and a European Arrest Warrant was granted.A warrant was executed in March and she was arrested by the Bulgarian authorities and extradited back to Scotland on July 2.Yorston was one of 17 people arrested during a police operation into the supply of Class A controlled drugs by organised criminals in the city.Between July and October.
