A filmmaker told how he had to write David Hasselhoff into his film script after the Hollywood hunk was convinced to do a cameo while in Scotland.
The Baywatch and Knight Rider star was visiting Edinburgh for a Comic Con Scotland event when he was approached about a cameo role in Our Ladies.
The American actor initially turned down the offer after he was approached by the film's producer, Laura Viederman. But overnight he changed his mind and stunned the film crew when he turned up on set the following day.
The Hoff was written into the script of Our Ladies - the long-awaited film adaptation of Alan Warner's novel The Sopranos - by director Michael Caton-Jones.
