schoolboy left fighting for his life after suffering from kidney failure has completed a charity bike ride to raise money to help other children with the same disease.
Leo McFaulds, eight, and his four year old brother Sam both contracted E. coli following a walk in the Scottish Highlands in May last year.
E. coli causes Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome (HUS) - an illness which affects the blood and blood vessels, resulting in anaemia and kidney failure.
While little Sam was lucky enough to make a full recovery from the deadly infection, Leo was not and was on dialysis for nine months as surgeons faced a race against time to find him a kidney match in order to perform a transplant.
