Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

The plan has been put in place for the 2020-21 financial year in an effort to limit the impact the outbreak has on Scotland’s economy.
Music venues and independent record stores in the country will benefit from the measures, which include a 75 percent rates relief for the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors with a rateable value of less than £69,000 from April 1 2020.
A fund of £80 million will also provide grants of at least £3,000 to small businesses in sectors that are facing the worst economic impact from the pandemic.
