A stolen Santa taken “hostage” from a Dumfries pub is set to be freed – and generate money for charity in the process.N’Dulge, on St Andrew Street, put up a Facebook appeal for information after their “treasured” Santa was pinched by a punter at the weekend.Following that post a page was set up called “The magical kidnapping of N’Dulge Santa”.And the page creator said Father Christmas would be returned safe and well if the “ransom” of £500 was raised for charity.Santa was spotted in various part of Dumfries as donations to Alzheimer Scotland came flooding in.With £520 raised Christmas is saved and Santa is due to be returned imminently.Anna Cruickshank, who owns N’Dulge, said: “It looks as though he’s had a very exciting time on his travels
