Yesterday, Rod, 77, and Penny, 52, posed with their arms around each other outside the impressive Annex Beach Cannes before they enjoyed a romantic dinner.Penny stunned in a leopard print satin dress and white cardigan, while Rod opted for an all cream outfit - from his knitted jumper to his shoes.Rod surprised fellow customers, who gushed on social media about what a 'nice person' the rockstar was as he made their day.One lucky diner Lea shared photos from her Easter meal with her mum and Rod, writing: "What a surprise our Easter dinner turned out to be very special!

Rod has been a Celtic supporter ever since he met Jock Stein in 1973 on the training ground while in Glasgow for a gig with his old band The Faces.
