Rebekah Vardy allegedly took pictures inside Sarah Harding's bag, Coleen Rooney has told the High Court.The alleged incident is said to have taken place at the National Television Awards in 2018.Vardy and the Girls Aloud singer reportedly "fell out" because the Wag "was apparently caught taking pictures of the contents of her handbag", the court heard.
The claim has been made by Rooney in a witness statement as part of the Wagatha Christie libel trial, Hull Live reports.The trial centres around Vardy, 40, being accused of leaking fake stories about Rooney, who is married to England legend Wayne, in October 2019.Vardy, partner of Leicester striker Jamie, denies the allegations and is suing Rooney for libel.In a witness statement, Rooney said: "As an aside, I am aware that Becky had attended the 2018 National Television Awards and produced and provided various pieces of 'behind the scenes' footage for The Sun."She also got into a spat with former Girls Aloud group member Sarah Harding during the 2018 event because Sarah apparently caught Becky taking photographs of the contents of Sarah’s handbag when Sarah had dropped it on the floor.
