Robbie Neilson admits Dundee United will have money to spend on transfers as they prepare their Premiership push.American owner Mark Ogren is ready to buck the trend this summer by backing his head coach and United sporting director Tony Asghar, at a time when most of their rivals will be slashing their budgets as a result of the Covid-19 cash crisis that has strangled the game in recent months.But Ogren has made it clear that any investments in players must have a future value, like last year when he pushed the boat out to get top scorer Lawrence Shankland.

Asghar and Neilson already have a list of top targets, which include Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet and KuPS winger Ilmari Niskanen, although they have several others with top-flight.
