RINGO Starr was forced to cancel a show after he was taken ill hours before a gig yesterday. The Beatles drummer, 82, called off the concert because the ailment had affected his voice.
Ringo’s spokesperson refused to say what the illness was but confirmed it was not Covid. The Four Winds Casino venue in New Buffalo, Michigan, US, told fans: “The Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band concert has been postponed.
Ringo is sick.” “Ringo is sick and was hoping to be able to perform, hence the late notice, but it has affected his voice.” The nine-time Grammy-winner and his band spent two weeks on tour in May and June and resumed their North American tour last month.
