Rebel Wilson made a cheeky joke aimed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ahead of her BAFTAs hosting debut.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now happier than ever and thriving after stepping down as senior members of the Royal family in March 2020 to embark on a new life in California.
And the Pitch Perfect star couldn't resist making a quick joke about the Stateside pair as she was being interviewed by Alison Hammond about her new hosting gig on This Morning on Thursday.
When asked how she felt about hosting the BAFTAs, Rebel explained: "I don't know. I would say I have presented awards at the BAFTAs, and it's gone pretty well." A clip from the upcoming movie West Side Story, which is nominated at the BAFTAs this year, was then played.
During the clip, the cast danced to the track America, prompting Alison to sing along: "I like to be in America, Okay by me in America".
