Kara Keough has revealed the devastating news that her father has passed away, weeks after her newborn son McCoy died at birth.The 32 year old took to social media to share a heartbreaking post, asking 64 year old Matt to "take care" of her son.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Kara wrote to her 145,000 Instagram followers: "Daddy, please take care of my son. "Teach him the circle changeup and how to find forever friends.

You're on grandpa duty in heaven now. Xoxo, Hammerhead." Alongside the post, she shared a number of sweet images of her famous baseball player dad.

Many of the images shows Matt with Kara as a little girl, with others seeing him walk her down the aisle at her wedding in 2014.
