Celtic as the world’s most searched-for Scottish football club, a study has revealed.But in the South Pacific island of Samoa, minnows Kilmarnock share top billing.Researchers analysed Google trends for Scotland’s 42 ­senior football clubs to discover which ones attract the most online searches for information.In the last two months, just as the Ibrox club have surged ahead of their Glasgow rivals in the Scottish Premiership, they have also edged in front in terms of global interest.While the Old Firm both average hundreds of thousands of searches per month, the results also reveal competition from smaller clubs in some unexpected parts of the world.Data provider Semrush looked at searches for Scottish clubs in more than 200 places.Rangers.
