Since schools reopened in September, children and staff have not had to wear masks after restrictions were eased over the summer.

But now, with rates rising among the secondary age group, measures are being reintroduced in some areas of Greater Manchester.

The Co-op Academy Swinton has told pupils that from Monday, September 27, all students and staff will need to wear masks in communal areas,.
