Prince Harry Cites 'Hurt, Embarrassment & Distress' in New Lawsuit Against the 'Mail on Sunday'

Prince Harry is taking legal action. In new court docs published by Variety on Friday (April 22), the Duke of Sussex said a series of articles from British tabloid the Mail on Sunday have caused “serious damage to his reputation and substantial hurt, embarrassment and distress which is continuing.” Click inside to read more… Prince Harry launched the lawsuit earlier this year after the Mail on Sunday reported on another lawsuit he’s involved in with the British government. Harry is currently applying for a judicial review against the U.K.

Home Office in order to for them to provide security for himself, his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids, 2-year-old Archie and 10-month-old Lilibet.

The couple have claimed that security risks have been a key factor in their decision not to return to the U.K. with their children.

The latest lawsuit specifically addresses two Mail on Sunday articles about Harry‘s case, which he claims suggested that he was lying about his offer to privately pay for his security.
