Wanderers are targeting loan deals ahead of the transfer window closing and there is the potential for new additions to add to the 19 players brought in so far this summer at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The window for international deals closes today at 11pm, but a domestic-only window where transfers can take place between Premier League and EFL clubs runs until October 16.

Football finances have been drastically affected in 2020 due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic meaning matches are taking place behind closed doors and reduced revenues as a result of fans watching games from home.

Added to this, annual salary caps of £2.5m and £1.5m have been brought in League One and League Two respectively, with Wanderers coming under.
