At noon on Thursday, Pop Smoke's estate announced that the late Brooklyn rapper's debut album will be released posthumously on June 12.

Since the rapper's death in February, there had been rumblings about pushing out unreleased music, most notably from 50 Cent.

On May 6, Victor Victor Worldwide, which handled Pop's management, released a statement thanking the public for its continued love and support.

The statement also mentioned that new music would be coming out this year. Though the release date is now set, details on who the album will feature have yet to be shared.
