Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked by a group 'unknown males' in Salford. Officers were called to a report of an assault on Churchill Way, close to the Leisure Centre at 5.56pm yesterday (March 24).

Officers attended the scene, and initial enquiries revealed that 'unknown males' assaulted another man. The attackers and the victim have not been located and enquiries are ongoing.

A large police cordon was spotted earlier today around the rear of Clarendon Leisure Centre. Pictures showed a number of officers at the scene. Initial enquiries have established that unknown males have assaulted another male. "Officers attended the scene. However, the offenders and victim have not been located.
