Richard Osman thanked Glasgow for a "lovely time" on a whistle-stop book signing tour this morning. The Pointless host, author and comedian headed up to Scotland's biggest city last night for some work at a raft of Waterstones stores.
Osman was scribing his name in hundreds of copies of his bestselling debut novel The Thursday Murder Club at shops across the area on Friday.
The gripping book has received rave reviews from critics and readers alike who hail Osman's signature killer one-liners which have been skillfully slotted into the story.Waterstones says it contains "artfully constructed twists" and "centres on a posse of pensionable Poirots investigating the suspicious demise of a property developer".
