thesun.co.ukPIERS Morgan tonight offered an explanation to fans after Susanna Reid was seen groping his bum on Good Morning Britain. Viewers of the show were alarmed when she leaned over, rummaged around - and pulled out a Scotch egg.
The unfortunate mix-up came courtesy of the split screen in place on many ITV shows to make it look like the stars are side by side.
In fact, they are the regulation two metres away in line with strict coronavirus protocols being enforced on sets. So while Susanna looked like she was touching the Piers posterior, she was in fact doing nothing of the sort.
