Posting the birthday tribute to Instagram, Piers, 55, wished the Good Morning Britain presenter a happy birthday on his 46th birthday.
He wrote: “Happy Birthday @benshephardofficial – my @gmb presenting colleague for the past 5yrs. “Yet this the ONLY time we’ve ever appeared together in the studio.
I assure it’s in his contract to avoid me because he feels he can’t compete aesthetically.” Piers’s followers rushed to comment on the post with many wishing Ben a happy birthday and laughing at the tongue in cheek caption.
