The Queen leaves handwritten note 'signed with her childhood nickname' on Prince Philip's coffin in sad final goodbye
As she bid a final farewell to her husband Prince Philip, The Queen reportedly left a handwritten note on the top of The Duke's coffin. Her Majesty, who chose the flowers for the funeral wreath, put the note which said "in loving memory" next to the wreath.The signature on the card was tucked out of sight because of the flowers, but it was reported that it was signed using the name Lilibet.
