Steven Gerrard offered Rangers SFA ban as boss discovers Celtic derby fate
Steven Gerrard has been offered a one-match ban after being sent off against Livingston.The manager clashed with John Beaton after the referee's decision to book Alfredo Morelos for diving during the Ibrox side's 1-0 victory in West Lothian on Wednesday.Gerrard approached Beaton at half-time and was quickly shown two yellow cards and sent to the stand.If Rangers decide to contest the decision, their gaffer will attend an SFA hearing on Thursday, March 25.Should the club accept the suspension, Gerrard will be absent from the dugout for Saturday's clash with St Mirren but would return for the potential decider against Celtic two weeks later.The 40-year-old has until March 10 to respond but, either way, he's been cleared to lead his side at
