Susanna Reid urges fans to push Deborah James' Bowelbabe fund up to £10million
Deborah James' charity fund has hit the £7million mark following her death earlier this week.The BBC podcast host, who also went by the nickname 'Bowelbabe', passed away on Tuesday 28 June following a five-year battle with bowel cancer. Prior to her death, she announced the heartbreaking news that she'd moved to end-of-life-care and, while there, focused her efforts on raising awareness and money for Cancer Research UK.The mum-of-two initially hoped to raise £250,000 but in just a few days the figure topped £1.5m. Now, this figure has risen above the £7million mark as donations have flooded in following her death.
