Emergency services scrambled to Blackpool's Central Pier at around 6.15am, LancsLive reports. Lifeboat crews, paramedics, police and coastguard officials were 'quickly' on the scene after calls about the person in the water. The person was then taken by ambulance to hospital. HM Coastguard Lytham said: "We were called out at 06.17 to reports of a person in the water around the Central Pier area.
