Person ‘hit by train’ on Scots rail line as emergency services race to scene

dailyrecord.co.ukrailway line had been temporarily suspended following reports of a person being hit by a train. Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident between Dundee and Arbroath, which is believed to have taken place at around 4.45pm on Friday, April 30.
ScotRail has warned travellers to expect delays while the tragic incident is dealt with. Tickets are currently being accepted on Stagecoach buses between Dundee, Aberdeen and Montrose for those affected by the closure.The rail operator tweeted: “Sadly, we've had a report of a person hit by a train between Dundee and Arbroath.“No services will run between these stations while the emergency services attend.“We've arranged for @ScotCitylink to accept valid tickets and Smartcards between.
