Police probing Helensburgh pier death want to speak to English woman who helped at the scene
death of a woman in Argyll and Bute are appealing for an English woman who helped at the scene to come forward.We told how the 25-year-old, named locally as Charmaine O'Donnell, died near Helensburgh pier on Friday, April 23.Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 5.15pm but she unfortunately could not be saved.A 28-year-old man has already appeared in court in connection with her death.As the police investigation rages on, officers are keen for more witnesses or anyone with information on the tragic incident to come forward.In particular, they would like to speak to a woman who helped at the scene.The woman had an English accent and, at the time of the incident, was wearing a lanyard around her neck.
