Parent slams nursery after three-year-old escaped and walked home alone down busy main road

The youngster had been at Flying Start nursery in Romiley, Stockport, when she managed to get out of the grounds close to pick-up time.

When the father arrived to collect his daughter at around 3.20pm, he was told she was missing - something staff say they had been alerted to just moments earlier.
