Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Ozzy Osbourne canceled his planned trip to Switzerland next week, during which he would've undergone treatment for Parkinson's disease, according to his wife Sharon. "We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland.

We were meant to go on the eighth of April for his treatment, but we had to cancel for his treatment," she said Monday on CBS' The Talk. "We’re just hanging in like everybody else, you know?

Just trying to stay away and be quiet and just hold it in there. I honestly find this such frightening times. I just think it's a really, really frightening time to be alive." Their daughter Kelly Osbourne revealed Ozzy's Switzerland trip wasn't the only overseas treatment he's sought out since being diagnosed
