OUR Girl’s Fingers actor has revealed his heart-breaking last words to Georgie were inspired by a real life soldier. Viewers of the BBC One drama were left devastated last night when Fingers, played by Sean Ward, died after being shot by the enemy last week.

Despite the best efforts of medic Georgie (Michelle Keegan) and the rest of the squad to get him to safety while under attack from enemy fire, Fingers suffered a bleed and a collapsed lung and died of his injuries.

Before he did, he mouthed 'I'm sorry' to Georgie, and Sean explained how his words were inspired by a real life army event.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith has shared a poignant video paying tribute to his late friend and colleague, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last month at age 50.The two-minute video comprises a handful of humorous interactions between the pair, interview snippets and performance clips, with the Foo Fighters song ‘My Hero’ laid overtop. The Twilight Sad paid tribute to the late Scott Hutchison at their show in Glasgow last night (Friday April 1) by covering Frightened Rabbit‘s ‘Keep Yourself Warm’ with the band’s drummer.Yesterday, the Scottish band announced that their two hometown gigs at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom would see them joined by Frightened Rabbit’s drummer, Scott’s brother Grant Hutchison. Tom Parker will star in Celebrity Pointless as BBC pays tribute to late Wanted singer

The late Tom Parker will feature in the Saturday night episode of the BBC show Celebrity Pointless following his tragic death earlier this week.
