Oscar bosses announce how the awards will go ahead this year and its very different

This year’s award season has been very different from what we’re used to, with the ceremonies having to be pulled back immensely.

We saw the virtual Golden Globes ceremony and the insanely fun Grammy Awards on Sunday night. And now it looks like the Academy Awards will have to come up with a novel way to keep the show entertaining but safe.

The president of the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences shared an email with the Academy’s nearly 10,000 members explaining how the show will go ahead this year.
