***Trigger Warning: This video contains mentions of anorexia*** Tributes are flooding in for Big Brother star Nikki Grahame who died one year ago today of anorexia.
In an exclusive interview with OK! magazine, Nikki's mum Sue said if she could speak to her daughter one last time, she'd tell her she was "pretty much the best thing that ever happened to me – she and her sister". "I am so proud of everything she achieved - I'm so lucky she was my girl," Sue said, describing Nikki's incredible life, as well as her serious struggles.
Now, friends both in and out of the spotlight have paid tribute to their larger-than-life friend. Nikki's best friend Carly, who, along with pal Leon, set up a desperate GoFundMe page to save Nikki in the weeks before her death, shared a tribute on Instagram. "A year ago life changed forever," she wrote. "I never thought that it would be the last time I spoke to you. "My heart hurts every time I think of you or someone mentions you to me.
No one will ever replace you as a friend. "We were two souls that were always destined to meet - you just got me, and I got you. "I only wish you didn't have to leave so soon. The evil illness may have taken you but I will fight for you. "You will always have a massive piece of my heart.
