Director Jon Favreau is taking Star Wars fans behind the scenes of his hit spin-off show The Mandalorian in a new docuseries.

Disney knows how much you loved, so to celebrate Star Wars Day, the House of Mouse is serving up more Mando, more Baby Yoda, more galaxy far, far away. It's not season two — that's set to arrive later this year — but a docuseries about the making of the first season.

It'll probably be a while before you can visit Disney's theme parks again, but its streaming service is still wide open for a getaway experience. Although Disney+ has not yet revealed the full list of what originals and library additions will be available on the streaming service next month, we have learned of some of the major titles that will be available in May already.

It's been quite a ride for Star Wars fans as the Skywalker Saga reached its end in December 2019, with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. While fans weren't exactly elated by how things ended, they still have The Mandalorian to look forward to. Created by Jon Favreau, Star Wars' first live-action series, premiered on Disney+ in November 2019 and became a huge hit. Pedro Pascal, who stars as Mando got a ton of praise for his performance.

Over 5 months since it first launched overseas, the House of Mouse’s hotly-anticipated Disney+ has finally arrived in the UK. Whilst it brings a lot of great content with it, the most notable addition is perhaps The Mandalorian – Jon Favreau’s hotly-anticipated Star Wars spin-off – and the first two episodes are available to watch on the new streaming platform now.
