Mum of cancer-stricken Scots boy hits out at corona-moaners after he almost dies from common cold

The mum of a cancer -stricken boy - who almost died after catching a cold - says people need to stop moaning about "inconvenient" coronavirus measures.

Vicky Ward's five-year-old son Ace has been in 'lockdown' since he was diagnosed with  B-Cell Acute Lymphobastic Leukaemia  in January and the mum-of-three has hit out at people moaning that football games and concerts have been cancelled.

Vicky says people need to be "mindful of other people's reality" after Ace - who has no immune system so could die if he contracts Covid-19 - battled back from the brink of death last week.She said: "Are the schools shutting?
