But she was left reeling after the appointment when she was forced to cough up hundreds for the root tint, bayalage and trim.
She asked fellow mums on the parenting forum Mumsnet if she was being unreasonable the question to the eye-watering price. The thread titled 'Should I be upset at paying £300 for haircut' attracted nearly 800 messages, Liverpool Echo reports.
