A gunman who injured two girls in a shooting in Moss Side is still at large one week on from the horror incident. Police were called to Quinney Crescent shortly before 10.30pm on Friday evening (July 29) following reports of a drive-by shooting outside a house.
Enquiries found that an unknown assailant had discharged a shotgun at a large gathering of people outside the property before driving off.
Two girls were reported injured during the incident. A 16-year-old girl was rushed to hospital but thankfully was not seriously hurt. Earlier in the week, Superintendent Chris Downey said: “Since Friday night, detectives have been working as quickly as possible to track down the offender, however, we are yet to make an arrest.
