Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Nir Bitton 's Celtic red card was "borderline" as the pundit agonised over Bobby Madden's big derby decision. The Parkhead star's sending off proved the turning point in Rangers ' 1-0 derby victory at Ibrox.

Bitton cynically hauled down the advancing Alfredo Morelos and Madden brandished red for denying a goalscoring opportunity. Celtic boss Neil Lennon insists the official got it wrong, claiming Kristoffer Ajer was recovering to close Morelos down.

Regardless, Stewart believes the incident was allowed to occur due to a drop off in Celtic's intensity."I want to see it again.

I think it's borderline," the pundit said on BBC Sportsound."I don't think it's a definite, but I'm not convinced it's definitely NOT a red card."I'm unsure about it.
