McDonald’s are scrapping their Monopoly promotion due to the coronavirus. The fast food giant were set to launch it later this month, but now it will be delayed until later this year.
Also, stores have banned sit-in options which will be implemented tomorrow morning from 5am nationwide, meaning customers will only be able to take away or go via drive through.
Paul Pomroy Chief Executive Officer of McDonald’s said: "Our restaurants will remain open for as long as it is safe to do so."In the last 24 hours it has become clear that we need to temporarily change our operations to ensure the wellbeing of our employees and customers consistent with the governments’ guidance on social distancing."Therefore from 5am tomorrow morning all restaurants
