After shutting last month because of social distancing rules, McDonald's has finally confirmed that it is looking to reopen its restaurants.

However, the fast food chain's boss has said that he will only do so when it has been proved safe enough for its staff and customers.

Tests are currently being planned to explore social distancing measures, PPE options and limited capacity opening. Paul Pomroy, McDonald’s chief executive officer for UK and Ireland, said the tests "will include exploring social distancing measures for our crew, PPE options and opening in a limited capacity," reports PA.
