After originally working on the other side of the screen, commissioning shows at the BBC and Channel 4, the 37-year-old first starred on screen in the groundbreaking series Beauty And The Beast: The Ugly Face Of Prejudice.
He then went on to present a series of shows, including Channel 4’s Tricks of the Restaurant Trade and BBC One’s The One Show.
The actor then starred in Hollywood flick 'Under the Skin' in 2013, a science-fiction movie, in which he appeared opposite Scarlett Johansson, playing a man whose visibly different face helps to humanise Johansson’s alien.
