snow fall across Scotland left a four-by-four covered up to its roof in the white stuff. The country has been battered by bad weather with more set to come this week.

A stunning picture from the Cawdor estate near Nairn in the Highlands shows the snow up to roof level of the Toyota Hilux. The vehicles stand nearly six foot off the ground.The pictures, posted on Facebook, were simply captioned: 'When the snow is higher than your Hilux!'Scots are braced for more wintery conditions in the week ahead.The Met Office has issued a yellow warning from Tuesday until Sunday as six days of snow and ice are expected across the country.The Highlands and Western Isles will be most affected today, with snowfall expected until midnight bringing travel.

Huge fire breaks out in Western Isles with massive smoke clouds billowing from scene
fire has broke out in the Scots Western Isles sparking concern.The blaze was spotted on the east side of the isle of Benbecula this afternoon at around 3.30pm.It is unknown if anyone has been injured at this point or how the fire started.Massive thick smoke clouds are billowing from the area as the blaze continues to grow.Photographs on the fire taken by eye witnesses show flames sweep over a field near water.The Daily Record contacted Police Scotland for comment.The Daily Record contacted Scottish Fire and Rescue for comment.
