Masked thugs hold up Scots petrol station with weapon in cash and tobacco raid

manhunt has been launched for two masked thugs who stole hundreds of pounds from a Scots petrol station after holding it up with a weapon.

The 'terrifying' early morning raid happened at the Jet filling station in Bothwell Street, Dunfermline, around 4.40am on Monday December 21.

Cops say the two men entered with masks and threatened the man working there with a 'weapon' before making off with hundreds in cash and a 'quantity' of tobacco.

It is unclear what the weapon was.The 25-year-old member of staff was uninjured but is said to be 'extremely shaken'.Both suspects are described as white, around 6ft in height and of medium build.
