A source close to the set of The Masked Singer is opening up about what really happened during the season seven premiere taping, in which Rudy Giuliani was unmasked as the first eliminated contestant.
It was previously reported that judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke both stormed off the set following the reveal while fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger both bantered with the former New York City mayor. Click inside to find out what the insider has revealed… Now, it’s being reported that Ken was the only one who stormed off set while Robin just let the stage to check on his friend. “Ken was super upset and indeed stormed out,” a source told People. “Robin actually followed him because he and Ken are very close friends and he wanted to check on him. Robin didn’t storm out because of Giuliani.” For those who don’t know, Ken has a medical degree and used to practice medicine before becoming an actor.
His political views are in opposition of Giuliani and he’s not happy with the misinformation spread by the previous administration. “Ken felt disrespected and was livid to see Rudy was under the mask which is why he walked off.
There’s no way he could hide his feelings,” a second insider said. “Ken has been incredibly vocal about how the previous administration handled many things but especially COVID-19 and has found a lot of what they’ve said not only wrong but dangerous.
