Martin Boyle set to STAY at Hibs as Ron Gordon closes the door on megabucks Saudi move

Al Faisaly have now opened talks with out-of-contract Brazilian winger Rossi.It looks to have closed the door on a life-changing contract worth up to £1.5 million-a-year for Boyle.The Australian international was keen to talk to the Saudi’s but respected Hibs’ position and didn’t demand to leave or to force a move.It now looks unlikely a deal will be struck for the Socceroo, although Al Faisaly have tabled a number of final bids and then returned to the table..
It was made clear from when Record Sport revealed Al Faisaly’s opening bid of £500,000 last month that Hibs wouldn’t let Boyle go for less than their £3 million asking price.
Hibs boss Shaun Maloney now looks to be the main benefactor as it looks like he will have his star man, along with all his new signings for the second half of the season.
