Pep Guardiola has dismissed the notion that Manchester City could give Manchester United a Liverpool-style walloping in the derby tomorrow.
The two rivals meet for the 186th running of the match at Old Trafford, with the Reds still smarting from the 5-0 thrashing handed out by Jurgen Klopp’s ream just two weeks ago.
And with City bracketed with Liverpool and Chelsea as the best three teams in the country at the start of this season, some Reds fear they could be in for a repeat, a little over ten years on from the shock 6-1 victory enjoyed by Roberto Mancini’s eventual champions.
