The Times report that the Premier League is set to extend its present TV deals with Sky, BT Sport, Amazon and the BBC, which is currently worth £1.5bn a year.

It is a deal that represents a coup for the Premier League, with rights having previously been expected to drop in value due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The deal removes the risk of the rights falling in value at an auction and means the likes of United - among Premier League clubs broadcast most frequently - will not see any drop in TV money.
