Paris Saint-Germain have been officially awarded the Ligue 1 title after the French FA voted to end the 2019/20 season. The French authorities announced earlier this week that no further matches would be played this season, with a decision to be made on how the standings would be settled.

On Thursday they announced that PSG would be crowned champions, with a 12-point lead over second-placed Marseille and only 11 games left to be played.

Similarly, Ligue 2 leaders Lorient have been awarded their title and promoted, alongside second-place Lens, whilst the bottom two clubs in Ligue 1, Amiens and Toulouse, have been relegated to the second tier of French football.
