Dwight Yorke believes Manchester United can solve their goalscoring problems with a shock loan move for Romelu Lukaku. United struggled in front of goal once again as they beat Wolves 1-0 on Monday, relying on Raphael Varane to get the winner.

Marcus Rashford started the game up front, with neither Anthony Martial nor Rasmus Hojlund available. Hojlund arrived in a £72million deal from Atalanta earlier this month but will miss the opening few weeks with a back issue.

The 20-year-old is a hugely exciting prospect but by no means the finished product, scoring just 10 goals in 34 appearances last season. He has since joined Bayern Munich, but Yorke has called on his former club to take another experienced No.9 on board in Lukaku. “Romelu Lukaku is absolutely still good enough to play for a top-six club," Yorke told OLBG. "I think Man United or Tottenham should take Lukaku on a short-term loan deal and agree to pay a certain amount of his wages. "As much as people say about Lukaku, he has a very impressive goalscoring record and he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves.
